The Recital Series has developed a stellar reputation for allowing audiences to enjoy the intimacy of music making and to see the players up close. Performed in the restored Board of Officers Room, these unforgettable musical moments utilize the pristine acoustics and intimate scale originally intended by many composers while invoking the salon culture of the Gilded Age.
This season focuses on the sheer power and beauty of the human voice, with thoughtfully curated programs of lieder, art song, and contemporary works that take the art form in bold new directions in the hands of some of today’s most exciting musical interpreters.
