Recital Series: Ensemble Correspondances

The “musically exquisite” (The New York Times) Ensemble Correspondances brings together under the direction of the harpsichordist and organist Sébastien Daucé a collective of singers and instrumentalists, specialists in the music of the Grand Siècle. The ensemble has become a major force in the 17th-century French repertory and in period compositions of the early music canon. They will present a program of period music from the Plaisirs du Louvre, Music for the Chamber of Louis XIII.

Program to include works by Louis Couperin, Antoine Boësset, François de Chancy, Pierre Guedron, Étienne Moulinié, J. Champion de Chambonnières, M. de la Voye, and Louis Constantin.

All ticket-holders must be fully vaccinated. “Fully vaccinated” means that you received your final dose of an FDA or WHO-approved vaccine at least 14 days before your performance date. At check-in, ticket holders will be required to show proof of full vaccination (the New York State Excelsior Pass or a hard copy or photo of your vaccination card) and a government-issued photo ID.

All patrons and staff are required to wear masks while inside the Armory.
