Helga Davis, currently touring in the 2012 revival of Philip Glass and Robert Wilson’s Einstein on the Beach, is known for her wide-ranging artistic explorations and collaborations. She will utilize the Armory’s historic interiors to structure and workshop an interactive performance, which draws on her ongoing project that takes the Cassandra myth as inspiration to explore the post-racial, African American woman in contemporary contexts.
