Now in its tenth year, the Recital Series has been lauded for becoming “a locus for important chamber music concerts” (The New Yorker). Performed in the restored Board of Officers Room and other intimate spaces, these enchanting musical moments utilize the pristine acoustics and intimate scale intended by many composers while invoking the Salon culture of the Gilded Age.
This season includes a highly anticipated North American recital debut, thoughtfully curated programs of lieder, art song, and contemporary works by some of today’s most exciting musical interpreters, and thrilling performances that explore signal works and take the art form in bold new directions.
