This epic masterpiece, composed between 1971 and 1974, represents the compendium of all the musical techniques Glass would use for his career of building rhythmic structure. The piece will be performed by the Philip Glass Ensemble in the rare setting only possible at Park Avenue Armory.
Audience members will have the rare opportunity of dining backstage during the meal break. Dinner package is available for purchase.
Run Time: 5 hours with two short intermissions and one dinner break (1 hour).
