Individual Giving Coordinator

Park Avenue Armory is a cultural organization whose mission is to revitalize one of NY’s most important landmarks, unique for its expansive drill hall and splendid period rooms, as a dynamic center for the arts unlike any other in the city. The Armory is seeking a development professional to join a small but entrepreneurial group. Ideal candidates will be self-starters who work well within a fast-paced environment.

Individual Giving Coordinator
The Individual Giving Coordinator will provide administrative support for the Individual Giving team, helping with various fundraising efforts.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to: coordinating invitation lists and mailings; preparing acknowledgement letters, solicitations and membership information packets; maintaining donor records; answering donor inquiries; coordinating meetings, receptions and other events as needed; taking RSVPs, fulfilling ticket orders, and tracking attendance; staffing check-in and membership desk during events; and preparing invoices for payment and tracking expenses.

Ideal candidates will be highly organized, motivated, high-energy, detail-oriented self-starters who work well within a fast-paced environment.  Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.  Bachelor’s degree, minimum 1 year of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.  Some evening and weekend work is required. 

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience. Please provide salary requirements with your application.
